Alpha is an opportunity to explore life and the Christian faith in a friendly, open, and informal environment. Alpha is designed to meet everyone where they are in their lives. It provides the time and space to consider and discuss the “big questions” in life: What is the meaning of life? Why am I here?
For those who are already practicing Catholics, you will revisit the most basic Christian beliefs and renew the openness to the Holy Spirit to be active in our daily lives.
Alpha is for anyone who’s curious. St. Angela Merici is now running two types of Alpha Courses intended for different age groups:
- Alpha Film Series Course (Alpha FS Course) – intended for Adults (19 and older)
- Alpha Youth Series (Alpha YS Course) – intended for high school age youth (8th-12th grade)
Each session runs for two hours and includes a full meal, watching a video, and discussing the video in a small group.
